Delete your Cupside account
You can permanently delete your Cupside account at any time. Deletion is irreversible — once completed, your matches, ratings and competitions cannot be restored.
From inside the app
- Open the Cupside app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.
- If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it separately in the App Store or Google Play. Cupside cannot cancel store subscriptions on your behalf.
By email request
If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@cupside.app from the address linked to your Cupside account. Include your nickname so we can locate your account. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (nickname, avatar, country, platform)
- Match history, league standings, tournament participation, ELO
- Clan memberships and invitations
- Chat messages, attachments and reactions you sent
- Match screenshots you uploaded
- Push notification tokens and notification preferences
- Friendships, blocks and reports you submitted
What may be retained
- Aggregated, anonymized statistics that cannot be linked back to you
- Records we are required to keep by law (e.g. tax records of past purchases) — kept only as long as required
- Reports filed against you by other users, retained for trust & safety purposes for up to 12 months
- Backups, automatically deleted on rolling cycles within 35 days
Effect on competitions
If you delete your account while a league or tournament is in progress, the organizer is notified. Your matches in that competition may be marked as walkover at the organizer's discretion to keep the bracket consistent for other players.
