Dream Team
Dream Team is eFootball's main squad-building mode, where you assemble your own custom club by acquiring player cards and Manager tactics, then upgrade and level them up over time.
How Dream Team works
In Dream Team you don't play as a single licensed club — you build your own. You acquire player cards (through GP, in-game currency, contracts and events), pick a Manager whose formation and tactics shape your style, and combine them into a starting XI. Players can be trained, boosted and leveled up, so two Dream Teams with the same names can have very different ratings.
Why it matters in competitive play
Because squads are built rather than fixed, Dream Team competitions test squad-building and management as much as match skill. When you run a Dream Team tournament or league, everyone brings their own custom roster, which is why organizers often note the squad mode up front so players know what they're walking into.
Dream Team vs Authentic
Dream Team is custom and progression-based; Authentic teams use real clubs with their real rosters and fixed ratings. Many communities run separate competitions for each so the playing field is clear.
